Semi-guided. Private acres. Fair chase.
Wheeler Whitetails sits in the heart of Adams County, one of North America’s most respected regions for trophy whitetails.
Our hunters access hundreds of privately owned acres along Ohio Brush Creek and the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
The habitat is diverse and managed for mature deer, including hardwood forests, cedar thickets, cropland (corn, soybeans, hay), fertile bottom ground, and rolling hills. Natural food sources, primarily acorns, are supplemented with numerous food plots. All hunts are 100 percent fair chase.
To protect the herd and promote mature genetics, a 130-inch minimum antler score is enforced. Bucks harvested below this minimum may be subject to a 500 dollar fine. These rules help ensure quality hunting for seasons to come.
If you draw blood from a deer due to a poor or faulty shot, your hunt is considered complete. You may choose to pay a wounded deer fee to continue. If a second deer is wounded, the hunt is over. These policies support responsible shot selection and our management goals.
